Student Testimonials

I am proud to be a graduate of CTC and continuously reflect on how my experience tehre helped to give me the confidence and belief that I could launch my own hair studio. I appreciate that the CTC offeres their students a variety of advantageous experiences! I believe a vision of one's goals and dreams come pretty easily in life. The ability to reach them requires great leaders, support and systems for succdess. TBA School of Cosmetology is more than a training center - it is a group of committed leaders preparing others for their future by teaching the skills set - all while modeling integrity!

“TBA School of Cosmetology prepares you not only for the practical (technical), but also for the personal aspect of this business. They instill the importance of customer service as well as how to get the look that the client wishes to achieve. I think that TBA School of Cosmetology is the most respected school in the Traverse City Area.”
                            Danielle, Senior Student

“I am happy I chose TBA School of Cosmetology because it has a great atmosphere, one-on-one help (from the instructors) and mock state board testing (to prepare you for taking your State Boards to receive your Cosmetology license).”
                              Shonda Senior Student

TBA CTC offers a comfortable classroom

                   learning environment

“I like the appearance and professionalism of the school. It is set up like a salon. We learn everything including facials and pedicures. The instructors and students all work together to learn new things. It’s worth the time and money.”
                                  Jill, Senior Student

“I would like to say that TBA School of Cosmetology is an awesome school. I am so happy I decided to go to TBA because I have learned so much about not only the cosmetology basics (example hair, makeup, etc…) but also how to work as a team, be a leader, meet other people with the same interests, and grow as an individual with self respect - how to make goals and achieve them. You become a strong, independent, and motivated young adult. The one-on-one instruction the teachers offer here is amazing. The students know that asking questions and being nervous is okay. The instructors are there for you, guide you, and watch you grow.”
Audrey, Senior Student

“A great school with a great reputation. Fun learning atmosphere. Great instructors that really care…… plus tons of professional products (to work with).”
Melissa, Senior Student

My experience in the TBA Career-Tech Center Cosmetology program gave me a great foundation on which I've built a rewarding career.  The program really prepared me and gave me the confidence needed to pass the state board exams and interview for jobs in the field. The lessons learned in the Cosmetology program have helped me throughout my career and I often find myself referring back to the basic principles of hair dressing I learned in the classrooom and clinic.
