DRAFTING & DESIGN TECHNOLOGY offers the opportunity to:
• use the latest software, build models, and do rapid prototyping.
• create drawings for real design projects.
• earn academic and college credit.

This program teaches students the basic fundamentals of drafting standards. Students can study either Mechanical Drafting/Manufacturing or Architectural Drafting and Design and will learn basic entry level drafting standards and skills required for that field. Students will gain experience using AutoCAD software while constructing real-world working models. Sketching, geometric construction methods, dimensioning, multi-view drawing layout and much more is learned on the computer.
