Meet state licensing requirements:
-DHS clearance
-Negative TB test
-No felony convictions
-CPR/First Aid Training

Legible handwriting

 

Positive communication skills with children and supervisors.

Keyboarding skills

Ability to work in groups/teams and work independently

Awareness to and handling of safety/emergency situations following policies

Proper use of grammar and appropriate language

Emotionally stable

Multi-task oriented; ability to anticipate situations

Gather information using a variety of resources

Accepts supervision and constructive criticism

Good/appropriate grooming, hygiene, and clothing.

 

Able to remain calm in new or emergency situations

Ability to supervise small groups of children

 

Self-disciplined; responsible behavior, show self control

Ability to adhere to confidentiality requirements
