SECOND YEAR:
Second-year students will be given the opportunity to focus on the career field they most desire. Students will participate in internships with various local Public Safety Agencies (Police, Corrections, Court, Fire and EMS). These internships will provide them with a first hand knowledge of how the system works. It is proposed at this time the student will spend eight hours per week at their work sites rotating sites every six weeks.

Students seeking Fire Service and EMS careers will be afforded the opportunity to complete Fire Fighter I and II and EMT Training.

The Public Safety/Protective Services Program has a goal to stay on the cutting edge of technology. We will constantly strive to maintain a high degree of current training materials.
