Student Services - Summer Orientation

The Career-Tech Center hosts a summer orientation in late August. First-year students and their parents or guardians are strongly encouraged to attend. For the 2013-14 school year, orientation dates are: Tuesday, August 27 and Wednesday August 28, 2013.

Orientation provides for first-year students and parents:

• an opportunity to meet with teachers and learn about life at CTC
• information for a smooth transition into the Career-Tech Center
• a copy of handbook explaining CTC policy
• time with principals and counselors to get questions answered
• an opportunity to visit classrooms and meet teachers
• time to purchase parking permits
• the opportunity to complete and sign the student data form which includes permission slips, medical forms, etc.
• a chance to pay equipment deposit
